Description

Home Park is an estate farmhouse for the Lackham estate, built around 1830-1840. It features painted stucco with a barge-boarded valley roof and stacks located in the valley. The building has two storeys and a two-gabled front with 2-storey projecting bays on each side. Each floor has 2-light pointed windows with traceried spandrels, and there is a moulded cornice above the ground floor windows along with a moulded sill-course for the upper windows. The gables above the bays have blank pointed panels. The central entrance door is set in a barge-boarded porch, which has a single pointed light above it. The side wall includes raised quoins and a range of paired windows in plain raised surrounds.
