Description

This is an 18th- to early 19th-century house located on the south side of High Street, Ramsbury. It is constructed of brick with flint detailing and has a slate roof. The building originally comprised two bays, but was extended to the right by a further, wider bay. A four-panelled recessed door is located in the second bay, set within a doorcase featuring narrow fluted pilasters and a simple bracketed canopy. The windows are 16-pane sashes. Gable stacks are present. The facade slopes down to gatepiers on the right, which are topped with stalked ball finials.
