Description

No 4 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of vitrified brick with red brick quoins and dressings, topped with a banded plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and features three bays. There is a central door leading to the hall, flanked by reception rooms, making the house two rooms deep. The entrance has a four-panel door with a simple canopy above it. The windows are 12-pane sashes with flush boxes, although the ground floor has been altered to include 4-pane sashes, with the right bay featuring a tripartite window. The roof is hipped, and there are stacks at the rear.
