Description

This is a house dating to approximately the 1820s and 1840s, located on the south side of High Street, Ramsbury. It is constructed of diaper brickwork, topped with a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays, with a later addition to the left which now incorporates a shop. The central bay features a four-panelled door with a reeded doorcase and a simple bracketed canopy. The windows are 16-pane sashes, set within wide moulded boxes. The eaves have brick dentil detailing. A four-flue brick stack is situated between bays two and three, where a window has been blocked.
