Description

Kilderkin Cottage is a house from the early 19th century that has been altered. It is built of red brick with some blue headers in Flemish bond, and features flint returns with brick gables. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The house has two storeys and two bays. There is a 20th-century six-panel door to the left of centre, with the top two panels glazed, set within a wooden architrave that has a bracketed hood. On either side of the door are mid to late 19th-century four-pane sash windows with segmental brick arches. The first floor has unequally-hung twelve-pane sashes. The eaves are stepped and dentilled, and there is a brick stack at the left end. A 20th-century rear extension is present but is not of special interest.
