Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features a tiled hipped roof with brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with three windows. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with an integral transom light, set in a beaded case with a flat stone hood supported by carved brackets. On either side of the door are three-light beaded mullioned windows. The first floor has a plat band and a central two-light beaded mullioned window, flanked by three-light windows on either side.
The right side of the building has a two-storey late 19th-century stone canted bay with casement windows on the left, and three-light beaded mullioned windows on both the ground and first floors, with a plat band on the first floor. The left side features French windows on the right and a three-light mullioned window on the first floor. At the rear, there is a three-light mullioned window on the first floor and a single-storey brick extension with a tiled roof attached to the ground floor. The interior was not accessible during the survey in March 1985.
