Description
Thatched Cottages is a row of three attached cottages dating from the 18th century, with one-bay additions made in the mid-19th century at either end. They are constructed of cob on limestone footings, featuring brick dressings and a thatched roof with brick stacks. The cottages are two stories high and have a total of eight windows. Each cottage has planked doors, with Nos 1 and 3 each having two 2-light casements and one 1-light casement, while No 2 has one 2-light and one 1-light casement on the ground floor, all with brick segmental heads. The first floor includes eight 2-light casements. The right and left returns also have planked doors. The interior of No 1 features chamfered beams with run-out stops, winding stairs, and planked doors, while the interiors of Nos 2 and 3 have not been inspected.
