Description
66 to 70 Endless Street is a late 18th-century symmetrical block that stands two storeys high with an attic. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a raised string course, with a slight central projection of three bays. The flanking sections have a brick dentil cornice, and the gable end roof is covered with old tiles, topped with three small hipped dormer windows, each with single lights.
Each house has one window with recessed casements and intact glazing bars. The side houses also have additional blind windows on the first floor, while the central house features two blind windows flanking a central two-light casement on the first floor. The ground floor windows are adorned with raised keystones, and the doorways are plain. Notably, number 68 has a blocked basket handle archway with block imposts and a keystone, which contains a door and window, suggesting it may have been a former carriageway. The building may have originally served as an inn.
Numbers 52 to 56 and 60 to 74 form a group with this building.
