Description
Nos 2 to 6 High Street, including No 54, were built around 1832. This three-storey building is constructed of brick and features ashlar quoins, a moulded cornice, a coping to the brick parapet, and grooved lintels. No 2 has an extension to the right, which is No 54 High Street, angled three times and connecting to Nos 50 and 52 High Street. The building has glazing bar sash windows, with the second window from the left being blind, arranged in a pattern of 2+2+1+1 on the central facet of No 54. No 2 has a six-panel door with fielded panels and a narrow overlight, while Nos 4 and 6 have paired six-panel doors. No 54 features a shop front with a central entrance.
