Description
The street wall fronting the Union Street Almshouses and Nos 18 and 19 Church Street dates from around 1861. It features a dwarf wall with raised sections and includes two cross-gabled piers that have weathered coping along both Union Street and Church Street. This wall, along with No 9 Union Street, St James' Hall, Nos 16 to 19 Church Street, and the National Schools, forms a cohesive group of buildings.
