Description
Bremeridge Farmhouse is likely of 18th-century origin, with alterations made in the early 19th century. The farmhouse is constructed of coursed rubble stone with a tiled roof, featuring a hip to the left side and a coped verge. A stone stack with a moulded capping is positioned to the right, while brick stacks are present on the left side. The building is arranged as a two-storey, four-window composition. A gabled porch, constructed of brick and ashlar, projects, featuring a segmental opening with imposts and a keystone, and is covered with stone slates. A four-light casement window is located to the left, alongside a 16-pane sash and two plate glass sashes to the right. The first floor has a 12-pane sash and three 16-pane sashes. The rear elevation features a mix of three-light casement windows and 16-pane sashes. Attached lean-to stone extensions with pantiled roofs are located at the rear. The interior was not accessible at the time of survey in June 1986.
