Description

This is an early 19th century row of six houses located on Southbroom Road. The houses are built of red brick, with No. 107 having a rendered plinth. They have steep-pitched slate roofs, except for No. 107 which has a shallower pitch, and No. 113 has a hipped roof. A shallow eaves cornice runs along the top of the buildings.

The windows are recessed sash windows with intact glazing bars, except for No. 111. The ground floor windows generally have one window, while the first floor of No. 107 has two. The windows have stuccoed block sills. No. 107 has a recessed door consisting of four flush panels and two small upper lights. The other doors have been replaced with modern versions. All the doors have one step leading up to them, and there are cellar gratings present.

The houses form a group with Nos. 71 to 99 (odd), The Volunteers Arms, and Nos. 103 to 113 (odd).
