Description

These are two early 19th-century houses located on Southbroom Road. They are constructed of light red brick with a rendered plinth. The roofs are low-pitched and covered in slate. Number 103 has one window, while Number 105 has two windows close together on the first floor. These windows are recessed sash windows with intact glazing bars, set within flat brick arches, and have stuccoed sills. The ground floor of Number 103 features one window and a recessed door with four flush panels and two small upper lights. Number 105 has a fascia board and a large two-light shop window, with a more modern door. Numbers 71 to 99 (odd), the Volunteers Arms public house, and numbers 103 to 113 (odd) form a group of buildings.
