Description
Brouncker's Court Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with coped gables and end stacks. The building has two storeys and a three-window range. Notable architectural details include a raised moulded plinth, ashlar flush quoins, a dripcourse, and a moulded eaves cornice. The windows are set in flush beaded stone surrounds, with three-light windows on each side and a two-light window in the centre of the first floor above a three-panel door. This door is framed by a raised moulded surround and topped with a fine large shell hood supported by scrolled brackets. The end walls also feature a dripcourse and similar two-light windows. The gables display some diaper patterns, while the front wall is built in English bond brickwork, with garden wall bond used elsewhere.
