Description

26 to 29 Herd Street is a range of small cottages dating from the 18th century. The cottages are two stories high and constructed of chequer brick on a stone plinth, topped with an old tile roof. Each cottage features a two-light casement window on the first floor and a three-light window on the ground floor, along with a plain ledged door. The doors are arranged in pairs, with 19th-century tiled steps leading up to them. Nos 26 to 33 Herd Street form a group.
