Description
Numbers 36 and 37 on Herd Street, dating from the 18th century, are constructed of chequer brick and feature a gambrel old tile roof with a brick stack. The buildings are two storeys high and have a diagonally placed brick eaves cornice. Number 36 has one range of modern casements, while number 37 has one casement on the first floor and one sash window with glazing bars on the ground floor. Each building has a flush-panelled door with a flat hood above. Number 37 is accessed via three ashlar steps. The pavement in front is cobbled. Numbers 35 to 37 form a group.
