Description
SILVERLESS STREET 1. 5407 (North Side) 18.7.49. Rosetree railings at Rosetree SU 1869 1/66 GV II 2. Dated 1765 on holder of R W P, which has moulded cast lead heads with cypher ornament. 3 storey. Chequer brick ground floor with mathematical tiles to upper part. Moulded wood frieze and cornice with lead lined gutter. Old tile roof. 3 windows on 2nd floor, framed by Doric pilasters, reaching to main frieze. Central 1st floor window with wide frame and moulded entablature, flanked by two 2 storey angular bay windows, with small cornice at 1st floor level and head. Central 6 panel door in plain surround in door case of three quarter enqaged Doric columns with cornice broken over columns and pediment over all. Cl8 lamp holder. No glazing bars on ground and lst floor windows. Early C19 cast iron rails to front. Nos 3 to 8 (consec) and Rosetree form a group with Nos 9 to 15 (consec), opposite, and with Nos 1A to 5 (consec), The Green.
