Description

The war memorial located in Donhead St Andrew village cemetery was erected after the First World War, specifically between 1884 and 1917. It is constructed of stone and features an octagonal stepped base. The pedestal has inscribed slate panels and is topped with an octagonal shaft. At the top, there is a cross adorned with praying angels in the angles of the arms, along with stylised leaf decoration above, designed in an Art Nouveau style.
