Description

The Edwards tomb is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 14 meters south of the southeast corner of the Church of St. Nicholas. It dates from the later 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features plaques on the sides and one at each end. The octagonal side plaques are adorned with foliate carvings in the spandrels, and the tomb is supported by panelled piers that include a central rosette. It has a moulded base and cornice.
