Description

Wellhead, built in the late 19th century or early 20th century, is a timber structure with a stone tiled roof. It has a circular plan and features six oak posts set on stone bases, with arched braces supporting the top plate. The roof is conical and topped with a wooden finial. This structure was constructed as a shelter for the village pump and is one of four similar shelters erected by W. H. Poynder of Hartham Park.
