Description
Unicorn Cottage is a house dating from the 16th or early 17th century, constructed of rubble stone with a stone tiled roof and a chimney stack at the south end. The building has one-and-a-half storeys and features two dormer gables, each with two-light leaded timber casements. The right side gable includes a chimney stack. On the ground floor, there is a door set in a shallow gabled stone porch, alongside a three-light flush ovolo-moulded stone-mullion window with a dripstone, and a two-light chamfered stone-mullion window, also with a dripstone. The windows have leaded lights. To the right side, there is a through passage with a heavy timber doorcase, which is now part of Unicorn Gallery. At the rear, there is a wing with a chimney stack at the west end.
