Description

There are two lamp standards located to the north-west and south-west of St Thomas's Church, dating from around the 1870s. These features consist of large square stone piers topped with gabled designs that support cast iron lamp standards. The lamp standards, along with the adjacent buildings at Nos 4 to 6 and Nos 8 to 18 York Buildings, form a group with the gates to St Thomas's Church and No 19 The Vicarage, all of which are considered to be of local interest.
