Description
This mid-19th century corner shop is located on the north side of the Market Place in Chippenham. The building is constructed of limestone ashlar with a pantile roof, hipped at the corner and featuring wide eaves. It has a double-depth plan. The exterior presents a three-storey facade with a two-window range on each side. The upper floor features 6/6-pane sash windows, separated by a platband; the window to the left of each facade is blanked. A late 19th century shop front is present, featuring panelled pilasters, a plinth, and a cornice to the fascia. The interior of the building was not inspected during the listing process.
