Description

No. 50 Market Place is a shop that dates from the early 19th century and is likely a remodelling of an older building. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a slate roof that is hipped at the front, with a brick stack on the left side. The building has a double-depth plan with a rear wing.

The exterior consists of three storeys and has a two-window range. There is a cornice and parapet that return to the left, along with a platband between the upper floors. The windows are 6/6-pane sash windows, with the ones on the left being tripartite. The interior has not been inspected.
