Description
The South Wraxall Club is a detached house that has been converted into a working men's club, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a double Roman tiled roof with gable end and ridge stone stacks. The building is two stories high and has three windows on the front. To the left of the center, there is a six-panelled door with a flat stone hood above it, flanked by 16-pane sash windows on either side, and a half-glazed door to the right. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sashes and one two-light flush mullioned sash to the right. The presence of straight joints suggests that the building originally consisted of just the center bay, with the sides added later. The left side has a 20th-century door, and there is a 20th-century addition at the rear.
