Description
This is a detached cottage dating to circa 1700. It is constructed of random rubble stone with a Bridgwater tiled roof, coped verges, and gable end concrete stacks. The cottage is gabled to the road and comprises a main range with a cross wing. The west front, facing the road, is two storeys and has four windows. A four-panelled door is located to the right of centre, with a flat stone hood above it. A blocked doorway sits to the right of the door, and two two-light ovolo-mullioned casement windows are to the left. A continuous moulded string course runs along the facade. The first floor has four two-light ovolo-mullioned casement windows. The right return side has a two-light, beaded mullioned casement facing the road. The rear of the cottage features a lean-to extension to the main range, with two-light mullioned casements on the first floor. More recently, twentieth-century steel casement windows have been added to the rear of the wing on the left.
