Description
A row of four cottages dating to around 1840. They are constructed of coursed rubble stone with a double Roman tiled roof and gable end and axial stone or concrete stacks. The cottages have a gable end facing the road. They are two storeys high with a four-window front. There are two gabled double porches with coped verges and shouldered openings containing 20th-century glazed doors. The front has four 12-pane sash windows to both the ground and first floors. The rear also features four sash windows to each floor. A single-storey bay with 20th-century patio doors is attached to the left return and is currently undergoing alteration. This is a good example of mid-19th century cottages within the village.
