Description

This is an early 18th-century house located on Park Lane in Ford. It is built of rubble stone with a stone-tiled roof and end wall stacks. The west front is double-fronted, featuring two two-light flush mullion windows on each floor. The left-hand windows on each floor have bead moulding, while the right-hand windows have cyma moulding. The ground-floor window on the left has a dripstone; the first-floor window on the left is blocked. A central plank door is set within a broad brick and stone porch with a lean-to roof. The rear of the house has a three-window range, also with two-light flush mullion windows. The bead moulding is on the right side of the rear windows, while the first-floor centre and left-side windows feature cyma moulding. A ground-floor window on the left rear is blocked, retaining only the hoodmould, as is a ground-floor window on the right rear. A central rear door is also blocked. A lean-to projection on the north side has a single-light window with bead moulding on the east side, and similar windows on the north side of the first floor and attic. The south side features recessed windows with hoodmoulds, with three-light windows below and two-light windows above.
