Description

This is a pair of cottages dating from the early to mid-19th century, located on the west side of Southbroom Road. The cottages are constructed of red brick with gable-ended slate roofs. Each cottage has one window, which is recessed, a sash window with later glazing, and features a flat brick arch, stucco keystone, and block sill. The recessed doors are made of four moulded panels. Nos. 47 to 57 (odd numbers) are a notable group.
