Description

Nos 96 and 98 High Street are a pair of houses built in the late 18th century, with an extension added in a matching style in the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a Bridgwater tile roof with two ridge stacks—one centrally located on the original range and another at the former east end. The original section has a two-window range with cambered-head small-paned casements that include stone keystones and gauged brick heads above the lower windows and doors on either side. The right door is a six-panelled design. The extension to the right also has a two-window range of paired casements, with a 20th-century addition at the east end.
