Description
A row of three houses on the north side of High Street, Ramsbury, built in the early to mid-19th century and subsequently altered. The houses are constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with blue headers and a blue header-brick band. The roof is covered in plain tiles. Each house is two storeys high and has two bays, with a rear outshut and a central entrance. The front of number 16 was rebuilt in the late 20th century. The ground-floor openings are topped with segmental brick arches. Number 18 retains 16-pane sashes with flush boxes, while numbers 14 and 16 have 4-pane sashes to the ground floor. The first floor windows of number 14 are 4-pane sashes, and numbers 16 and 18 have 12-pane side-sliding sashes. A first-floor band runs along the facade. The eaves are dentilled. Brick stacks are located at the ends of the row and on the ridge between numbers 14 and 16. Number 18 features circular ends to the tie rods.
