Description

Nos 65 and 66 on High Street are mid-18th century buildings made of red brick with a gambrel old tile roof and a brick stack. They are two storeys tall and feature a brick modillion eaves cornice. The first floor has four flush-framed cased sash windows with glazing bars. The shop fronts, dating from the 19th century, also include glazing bars. No 65 has a flat hood supported by cut brackets over its door. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 65 to 85, The Sun Public House, Nos 88 to 90, the Church of St Peter and St Paul, and Nos 42 to 64 on the south side.
