Description

This building comprises two properties, numbers 70 and 71, located on the north side of High Street. Dating to the mid-18th century, it is constructed of whitewashed brick with an old tile roof. The building is two storeys high with attics. It features a brick modillion eaves cornice. The first floor has four casement windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has two casement windows with glazing bars. There are two planked doors. Two attic dormers are present, one with a leaded casement window. Numbers 70 and 71 are part of a group, along with numbers 65 to 85 (inclusive), The Sun Public House and numbers 88 to 90 (inclusive), the Church of St Peter and St Paul, and numbers 42 to 64 (inclusive) on the south side of the street.
