Description

Minster House is a late 18th-century house with an attached cottage to the right. It is constructed of squared rubble stone and has a stone slate roof with coped verges and a saddlestone. An ashlar chimney stack is located on the left. The house is two storeys and an attic, with three windows. The entrance door, situated to the right of the house, is a six-panelled door with a flat stone hood supported by brackets and three steps leading up to it. To the left of the door is a paired sash window with a beaded mullion and case. Above this window is a French window featuring margin glazing bars, an iron balcony, and a canopy. The attached cottage to the right has a plain door case and two twelve-pane sash windows in plain cases above. Two hipped dormers are visible on the roof. The interior of the house has not been inspected. The building possesses group value with the attached 17th-century cottage to the right, number 60.
