Description
The gate piers and gate at the main entrance to the Church of Holy Trinity were built in the 1840s, likely designed by T.H. Wyatt. They feature square limestone piers with attached corner shafts in a Neo-Norman style, topped with moulded pyramidal cappings. There is a cast-iron overthrow that originally held a lantern, which is now missing. The double wooden gates are adorned with ornamental hinges and have cast-iron spiked tops, complementing the style of the church.
