Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house from the 17th century with a timber-frame core that was extended and refaced in render in the early 19th century. It features two parallel ranges topped with hipped imitation stone slate roofs, with the original range located to the west and an added range to the east. The building has two storeys. The south front displays a slightly advanced gable end of the original house on the left, with a two-window arrangement featuring 16-pane sashes to the left, a door with a hood supported by brackets, and a 12-pane sash on each floor. It is said to have been the manor house of the second Somerford manor, known as Somerford Mompesson or Somerford Bolles.
