Description

The Sprat and Mackerel Public House is a public house located on The Quay in Lower Brixham, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It features a solid rendered front and a slated roof, with a brick chimney positioned on the right gable end. The building stands four storeys tall and is two windows wide. The ground storey includes a doorway on the right, while to the left there is a range of mullioned-and-transomed windows, which may date from the late 19th century. The upper storeys are adorned with two-paned sash windows and raised quoins. A deep, flat eaves-cornice completes the architectural details of the building.
