Description

The structure consists of the remains of a kitchen block and a 19th-century pump located to the south of Kirkham House in Paignton. The kitchen block dates back to the 15th century and is constructed from local red breccia rubble. It is positioned at an angle to the main block of the house, which is situated at its rear. It is believed that the original stack was located in the now-missing west wall. The site features low stone walls and includes a cast-iron pump situated outside the rear door of the house.
