Description

58 Cecil Street is a small house built in the early or mid 19th century. It is constructed of local red breccia rubble, with the first floor rendered and a hipped slate roof at the right end. Renovations revealed that this house was built over a former gateway that provided access to the rear of No. 56. The house has two storeys and features a one-window front. The front door, which is from the 20th century, has small panes and is located under a 20th-century slated porch hood supported by brackets. There is one 19th-century sixteen-pane sash window on the ground floor and another on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
