Description

Penny Cottage is a small house, probably from the 18th century. It has a rendered exterior and a slate roof, which is gabled where it meets the Torbay Inn and No. 3. There is a rear lateral stack with a rendered shaft. The house is single-depth and may have once been part of the Torbay Inn, which is located to the right. It has two storeys and an asymmetrical front with one window. The entrance features a 20th-century door located to the right of center, flanked by two 20th-century top-hung casement windows—one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected but may contain interesting features.
