Description
Rove's Farmhouse, dated 1833, is a two and a half storey building constructed of rubble with brick quoins and dressings. It features a modern concrete tile roof with a gable end brick chimney. The facade includes three gabled dormers with two lights each and three windows fitted with glazing bar sashes. A central projecting brick gabled porch has a depressed archway and a six-panel door. Above the central first floor window is a dated panel that reads "F.W. A.D. 1833." At the rear, there are two lower extensions, and to the west, there is a two-storey outhouse that served as a granary and cowshed, built of rubble with brick quoins and brickwork above the bressumer of the stalls.
