Description
Sevenhampton House is a mid to late 17th century building that stands two and a half storeys tall, with a cellar located on the east side. The structure is made of rubble and features a stone tile roof. It has large external gable end chimneys with moulded capping, and the left-hand chimney includes gable end lights next to it. The façade consists of three bays plus one additional bay, with 3 and 4 light ovolo mullion windows that have drip moulds, and ground floor openings that are topped with relieving arches. The central entrance door is framed by a drip and stop moulded surround, and the door itself is studded with a diamond pattern and fitted with strap hinges. The extra bay on the right side is a later addition, likely a 20th-century replica. At the rear, there is a 'T' plan stair turret topped with a hipped roof and a small 2 light mullion window, also featuring relieving arches on the ground floor. The building has two gabled dormers, and the interior has been altered.
