Description
The north wing of the former Warnford Place is a building from the 18th century, situated on a medieval site, with remodelling by Lord Banbury in 1904. It is a single-storey structure built on a basement, constructed of rubble with brick dressings around the round arched glazing bar sash windows. The roof is tiled and features a shaped gable end on the east side.
The façade has four windows on either side of a slight central projection, which includes a raised parapetted attic with a bullseye window. Notable architectural details include a cornice, a panelled parapet, and ball finials. The central entrance is highlighted by a pedimented doorpiece, with a double flight of curved steps leading up to the door, flanked by brick parapets.
To the east, there is a two-window return featuring a Tudor arched doorway, which may date from the late 17th century, and a mullion window that is likely from the 20th century, located in the basement.
