Description
Stonecroft is a building from the 18th century, possibly older, featuring an 'L' shaped plan that is in front of an early 19th century block towards the paddock. The structure is made of rubble with a flat pantile roof. It has brick quoins on the north gable and a brick chimney on the west gable. The entrance is located in a modern porch at the angle of the building. There is a three-light 18th century wooden mullion window above the porch, which has a moulded lintel. The garden front includes two gabled dormers and a half-glazed door with a bracketed hood. Facing the paddock, the building has a stone tile roof with a central brick chimney, two windows on the first floor, and three on the ground floor, all with stout wooden mullions. There is a walled garden to the south, with rubble walls approximately 6 to 7 feet high, and a rubble farm building in the southeast corner. A stable located in the north garden is not included in the listing.
