Description

The Saracen's Head Hotel is a mid-18th century building located on the south side of High Street in Highworth. It stands two and a half storeys tall and is constructed of red brick with some blue headers. The building features a plinth and a band above the ground floor, topped by a stone slate roof. There are three gabled dormers and five glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads set in flush moulded frames. The central carriageway has a keystone and imposts but is now filled with modern glass doors. To the right on the ground floor, there is a modern four-window square bay. A large hanging inn-sign is supported by a scrolled wrought iron bracket.
