Description

No. 47 High Street is an early 19th-century building that was originally two houses. It stands two and a half storeys tall and is constructed of red brick with grey headers. The roof is modern and tiled, featuring a ridge at two levels and two gabled dormers with two-light casement windows that have glazing bars. The facade is arranged in two plus two bays, with glazing bar sash windows that have stone keys above brick flat arches. The right-hand section of the building is slightly set back and has a moulded brick eaves cornice. There is a door on the left side, while the left-hand section has a later shop front that projects from the building.
