Description
The Pig on the Hill Public House is a public house dating from the later 19th century. It is constructed of stucco with stone quoins and features a slate roof. The building is two stories high and consists of two blocks, each with three-window bays. The entrance is located in the right block, which has rounded recessed corners and a rear wing.
On the ground floor, there are three-pane sash windows set within moulded architraves and topped with gabled segmental heads. The upper floor also has three-pane sash windows, but these are framed by lugged architraves with rounded heads and bracketed sills. A cornice runs along the top of the building. The left block has a small gable that features a fountain in relief and an acroterion.
