Description

The mausoleum adjoining the north side of the chancel of the Church of Holy Rood is a mid-19th century structure built for the Goddard family. It is constructed from limestone with sandstone panels and is designed in the Gothic revival style. The mausoleum features five bays by three bays, with corner columns and quatrefoil panels. The top is moulded with fleurons and has a slightly pitched roof covered with slabs.
