Description

Winton Cottage is an 18th-century, one and a half storey thatched cottage that was altered in the late 19th century. It is built of coursed and dressed chalk rubble on a sarsen plinth and features gable end brick chimneys. The cottage has two gabled dormers with thin scalloped bargeboards and two late 19th-century windows with wooden lintels, both of which are two-light casements. At the rear, there is a modern two-storey thatched wing with a porch in the angle.
