Description

The Laurels is a building that likely dates from the 18th century. It has two storeys and an attic, constructed of painted chalk rubble sitting on a sarsen plinth. The roof is thatched and features two brick ridge chimneys on the right side. The front of the building includes two casement windows and a low doorway, as well as two eyebrow dormers with three-light casement windows. On the north-east gable, there is a blocked garret window located above the attic window, which is a three-light wooden window with an ovolo section mullion. At the rear, there are two eyebrow dormers, each with three-light plain section wooden mullions. Additionally, there is a modern two-storey extension made of breeze blocks with one window on the south-west side.
